Puts one in mind of a time before central heating and thermostats when fireplaces were all too common, serving an important function in the home. This application is especially pleasing, both aesthetically and functionally.
ReplyDeleteI could so see myself luxuriating in this space, perhaps finding excuses to spend extra time there. In giving a tour of my home I would be sure to showcase the bath, drawing special attention to the fireplace.
Love the earthy stone and colors contrasting the dark (possibly bronze, or even black) framing and accents.
